KS on the Keys is located at 1029 Daze Street, Ottawa, Ontario. We are situated in Ottawa South, with free on-site parking available directly at our door.
What are KS on the Keys' opening hours?
We are open Tuesday and Wednesday from 11:00am to 9:00pm (kitchen closes at 8pm), Thursday and Friday from 11:00am to 11:00pm (kitchen closes at 10pm), Saturday from 10:00am to 11:00pm (kitchen closes at 10pm), and Sunday from 9:00am to 9:00pm (kitchen closes at 8pm). We are closed on Mondays. Please note that for large group events we can open earlier, later, and on Mondays — contact us to arrange.

What type of food does KS on the Keys serve?
KS on the Keys serves a diverse, crowd-pleasing menu rooted in Canadian comfort food, with something for everyone. We are known for our pizza, Chinese food, handhelds, and great appetizers — alongside salads, pasta, calamari, and a rotating selection of daily specials. We also offer Lebanese and Mediterranean options for those who enjoy those flavours. In addition to our regular a-la-carte menu, we offer special buffets for private events, on the weekends and on public holidays, like Mothers Day, Easter, Ramadan, Eid, etc. There truly is something for everyone — which has been our philosophy since 1971.

Yes — All of our beef and chicken is halal certified, making us a welcoming dining destination for Muslim families and guests in Ottawa.
Does KS on the Keys have vegetarian and vegan options?
Yes. KS on the Keys has a wide range of vegetarian and vegan-friendly options on our menu. From fresh salads and appetizers to pasta, vegetable dishes, and more — plant-based diners are very well catered for. Please ask your server and they will be happy to guide you through the best options.
Does KS on the Keys have gluten-free options?
Yes. KS on the Keys has a wide range of gluten-free options on our menu. All of our gluten-free items will have a symbol that says GF beside it in our menu.
Can you accommodate food allergies or dietary restrictions?
We do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies. Please inform your server of any allergies or requirements when you arrive or when placing your order, and our kitchen team will do their best to assist you, if we cannot accommodate the dietary restriction we will notify you.

Does KS on the Keys have a weekend buffet?
Yes! We serve a breakfast buffet on Saturday and Sunday mornings as well as a brunch buffet on Sundays. Both buffets are a popular Ottawa South tradition and no reservations are required — just walk in and enjoy.

Do you take walk-ins or do I need a reservation?
Walk-ins are always welcome at KS on the Keys — no reservation needed. We recommend calling ahead for groups of 6 or more to ensure we have the right space ready for you. You can reserve online at ksonthekeys.com or call us at 613-521-0498.

Do you accommodate large group dining?
Yes — KS on the Keys is well set up for large group dining. For groups of 10 or more, we recommend contacting us in advance so we can arrange the best seating and service for your group. We regularly host large family gatherings, birthday dinners, and group celebrations.
Private Event Spaces
What private event spaces does KS on the Keys offer?
KS on the Keys has three private event spaces. Our main event room accommodates up to 110 guests and is ideal for large family celebrations and parties. Our semi-private second floor overlooks the restaurant and fits up to 60 guests — accessible by elevator. Our private boardroom accommodates up to 24 guests and is equipped with a TV, speaker, and microphone, perfect for corporate meetings and intimate gatherings.
How many guests can KS on the Keys accommodate for events?
We can accommodate events from as few as 10 guests up to 250 or more guests across our various event spaces. Whether it is an intimate boardroom meeting or a large wedding reception, we have a space to suit your needs.
Do you host weddings at KS on the Keys?
Yes — KS on the Keys is a popular wedding venue in Ottawa South. Our event room accommodates up to 110+ guests and our full catering team will work with you to create a custom menu tailored to your celebration. Larger weddings of 200+ can be achieved by booking out the whole restaurant. Contact us at RSVP@ksrestaurant.ca to discuss your wedding.
Do you have corporate event facilities?
Yes. KS on the Keys offers several spaces perfectly suited for corporate events of any size. Our private boardroom accommodates up to 24 guests and is equipped with AV equipment including a TV, speaker, and microphone — ideal for meetings, presentations, and team lunches. Our main event room accommodates up to 110 guests and works beautifully for larger corporate dinners, galas, and company celebrations. We also have our mezzanine level and main dining room floor available for corporate buyouts and larger gatherings. Free parking is available on-site for all guests, making us one of the most convenient corporate event venues in Ottawa South.
Can I rent just the event space without food service?

Is the event venue accessible for guests with mobility needs?
Yes — KS on the Keys is fully accessible. Our main event room is on the ground floor, and our second-floor semi-private space and our board room are accessible via elevator. We want every guest at your event to feel comfortable and welcome.
Can I bring my own decorations to my event?
Yes — you are welcome to bring your own decorations to personalize your event space. Our team will work with you to ensure the room is set up to your liking. Please contact us in advance to discuss any setup requirements.
How far in advance should I book an event space?
We recommend booking your event space as early as possible, especially for weekends and popular dates like holidays and long weekends. For large events like weddings, we suggest booking at least 3–6 months in advance. For smaller corporate or private events, 4–6 weeks is generally sufficient.

Is there a minimum guest count for catering?
There is no minimum guest count for catering orders. For our buffet packages specifically, a minimum of 20 guests applies. For all other catering formats — set course meals, custom menus, or off-site service — we are happy to accommodate events of any size. Contact us to discuss your requirements.
Do you provide serving staff for catering events?
Yes — KS on the Keys provides professional serving staff for catering events. Our team handles everything from setup to service to cleanup, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience for you and your guests.
How far in advance do I need to book catering?
We recommend booking catering at least 2–4 weeks in advance to ensure availability and allow time to finalize your custom menu. Nonetheless we do accommodate last minute catering requests. For large events or peak dates, earlier is always better. Contact us at RSVP@ksrestaurant.ca to get started.
